In its third year, Leadership Northside is a partnership between Northside ISD and the business community. Members meet at monthly breakfast meetings over an eight-month period to learn about the operations and dynamics of Bexar County's largest school district. The members of the class learn from staff members and through hands-on activities about finance, facilities, technology, instruction, and other areas of Northside ISD.
"Leadership Northside is a way to involve community and business people in their public school system and solicit their support. It helps them become more aware of the challenges we face and also all the achievements,," superintendent John Folks said.
